D.E.A.R. time means that you ( drop everything and read). We have D.E.A.R. time mostly every day for about 15-20 minutes. That is me, Harrison, reading the red book, "Genies don't ride bikes." At my table with me are
Lajuane and Tyler.

This is table six, they are quietly reading their books. Most days we can sit any where we want to sit, as long as we read quietly, but that can be a challenge.
Daynesha and
Jaia are reading a book together. Sometimes 4
th & 5
th graders partner up and read together.

Everyone wants to sit or lay by the window. Sunlight helps you see the pages better and can warm you up when you are feeling cold.
